It was a snowy day today. I have been staying at home for 2 days( I worked from home on Friday).
At first I felt bored and didn't know what to do. It was cold outside, I didn't want to go out either.
The only thing I can do was checking WeChat again and again. What a boring weekend, I spoke to myself.
Then I came up with an idea, I hadn't finish yesterday's training in Keep(a Gym App, which I am using for taking exercises recently). So I resumed the dancing course, 10 mins later I finished the training, felt full of energy again.
Then I made up my learning plan for rest time of today: read books on Kindle for PC, write an English Journal(my first attempt), listen to a Zhihu Live(audio) and take notes.
The book I read on Kindle is <Sleep Good>. The book gives us more information on sleep and useful tips on how to have a good sleep. It took me about 45 mins to finish reading. I decide to keep my cellphone away from my bed when sleeping, I will put it in the living room instead of the bedroom.
I also learned a new English word today: Thermoregulation. Thermos is the origin word for heat and temperature. As we know, Thermos Cup is good at keeping water warm.
I also took a nap in the afternoon. Actually the nap is too long, I should set a clock so as to keep it within 20-30 mins, 60 mins is too much
In the Evening, I made 6 New Orleans roast chicken wings for dinner, my oven is doing a good job, it is important to brush some oil on the top of the wings so that it will taste better.
After dinner, I watched Super Brain(a popular TV Show on Jiangsu TV) with my husband. Again, we were astonished by the amazing super brain power that a human being can possess. The 3rd Part is about Flower Curve, it is really fantastic that we can use different rulers to create beautiful curves, the combination of geometry and fine art(aesthetics).
All in All, I am happy about my day. I will keep learning and practicing. Looking forward to tomorrow.
