No cell-phone use in this bank
-"sir, No cell-phone use in this bank!"
“The use of cell phones, laptops, palmtops, radio transmitters and similar equipment has been exploited for illicit activities,” Pancho said in his explanatory note.
Section 5 of the bill prohibits clients from using their cell phones or similar personal communication devices inside banking premises.
I was wondering if it happens only here or elsewhere around the world.
JUANR:Here in Colombia yes, you cannot use a mobile phone inside a bank.
ryangooner:They are banned in banks in England as far as i know - always reminds me of the opening of Pulp Fiction where Tim Roth explains that someone held a bank up with a mobile!!!!
simo82:It is banned here in Italy because it can interfere with the metal detector at the entrance of all banks.
