Ice Breaking Activity
On the very morning Oct 27, there was a suspense that we gota note by random when we checked in the 2FD meeting room. Notuntil the Candy from Walmart Global Sourcing and Peilei from HR Home office to say that you need to find out your team by the clue shown on the note. I did learn some wonderful idea on how to break the ice and get the associates who first met involved. Many team is very quick find out the partners since we write down the category big on the Notebook.Ibelieve someone will come to me , and It is true.Hunting partners hittheatmosphereand we feel happy to find out theteam. haha , there is one team with 112.5 years of WM serving associates totally.Team self introduction is creative.

Lesley Smith started her sharing by a story in book called Wizard Of Oz, whichwas alsofilm with a wonderful song called Over the Rainbow. One day, a great storm whisks Dorothy and Toto, along with their house, off to a faraway place. But Dorothy is just eager to get home. The Good Witch tells her that only the wise old Wizard of Oz is able to get her back to her family.The journey to find out wish wizard begins.Lesley said she is just like Dorothy with red high heel.ThenA Picture shows Lesley’s career journey. A videoreappearthe exciting moment when she was announced toachievedSam Walton Entrepreneur Of The Year Award on June 6,2015. I noticed the happy tears in her eyes. It is not easy and I see something verychallengingin her journey but I did not what it is.
After several mins , Lesley show up from the back with a white hat , a black heavy luggage and green shopping bags. Ho my! Her phone call ring and the conversation passed on the scary when Lesley made the decision to Walmart China as leader of supply chain.She brought a lot of her personal staff ,very cute and creative. She mentioned a lot of times her husband encourage and support her to go forward.Lesley’s sharing is impressive with a unexpected showing up and her very personal story .
