Hi everybody, welcome back to e-cubed, and this week we had one more phrasal verb, to do it over, to do something over, what did that mean? Now usually when we have the preposition over with the action verb, it tends to mean again, not always but in this case it does mean again. So do it over means do it again. Oh man if your teacher tells you to do it over or if your boss tells you to do it over, that's a lot of stress, I don't like to do it over, I like to do it one time perfectly. Sometimes when I shoot these videos, I realized I made a mistake and I have to do it over. It happens, we all make mistakes, we can do it better.
To do something over, do it over means to do it again, do it it sounds like w, do wit(do it的发音), do it over. At america when we connect the t sound, it's a flap sound, and it sounds like a d, It's not exactaly a d, but it similar to a d, it's more similar to a d than a t, do it over, oh I think perhaps my British friends might say to it over, I'm not sure, but the American people we say do it over, do it over, it like a flap sound. Do it over, do it over, I would not do this video over, listen to the dialog.
A: How do you like my picture, daddy?
B: What is it?
A: It's a picture of a bear.
B: Oh…um…you should do it over.
Oh, come on daddy don't make the child do it over, I lover bears, yes fantastic. But I guess if I was an art teacher, I might want to tell the kids to do it over. Do it over, I will see you guys again tomorrow.

1、do it 发音do wit, 两个元音之间加了w，其中的t是flap sound 闪音， 一般t在两个元音之间要转化成d音，d音的快速弹舌
