今天这一集照样是猪爸爸的主场,一出场就是陪佩奇下棋,陪孩子玩耍的爸爸都超帅!有木有!
佩奇赢了在欢呼,猪爸爸也是微笑着夸赞佩奇下得好,并没有因为输棋而恼怒。棋品和心胸都够宽!
然后,重点来了,乔治哭了,而且说不清为什么哭,只知道说恐龙,猪爸爸一语中的,问乔治:是不是恐龙丢了?
这个比较难了,很多人在孩子哭的时候都搞不清孩子为什么哭。这个,也许猪爸爸学过儿童心理学。
猪爸爸并没有马上去找恐龙,而是把这个找恐龙的任务巧妙的教给佩奇:现在到侦探出场了!
佩奇不知道什么是侦探,好奇心一下子上来了。假设猪爸爸说佩奇你去帮乔治找恐龙吧,佩奇肯定不愿意,但是如果授予她一个职位,她会非常有成就感。
感觉好崇拜猪爸爸了。

接下来是引导佩奇思考,佩奇是个留心观察生活的孩子,她知道平时乔治会带恐龙去哪里玩,虽然平时去的地方都找过了也没找到恐龙,但是,这个过程就很难得了,以后的佩奇肯定更加注意生活中的小细节。
家里都找遍了也没找到恐龙,到这里侦探行动卡壳了,猪妈妈提议到花园去找找。
于是戏精猪爸爸又上线,明明猪爸爸一到花园就看到了恐龙在树上,此时佩奇已经非常沮丧了,侦探行动对她来说太难了。
猪爸爸故意问乔治是不是喜欢把恐龙往空中抛,引佩奇往天上看,果然佩奇看到了掉在树上的恐龙,开心得不得了。
猪爸爸如果直接把恐龙从树上拿下来,乔治是高兴了,因为乔治只要找到恐龙就好。但是,佩奇未必,她也许会非常受挫,认为自己这么小的事都做不好,她的自信会被打击。
所以,猪爸爸一步步引导佩奇思考寻找恐龙,在佩奇觉得很难沮丧的时候给她指出寻找的方向,最后故意让佩奇找到恐龙,就是一种鼓励教育。

如果是我的话,我估计一开始就会说乔治是从花园哭着进来的,我们去花园找吧,然后出去就看到恐龙了。这样就失去了让孩子思考的机会了。

旁白:Sometimes, George likes to scare Peppa with Mr. Dinosaur.

佩奇(故作害怕跑掉):Eeek. Too scary.
旁白:At suppertime, Mr. Dinosaur sits next to George.
妈妈(调侃的语气):I beg your pardon. Was that you George, or was it Mr. Dinosaur?
乔治:DineDine SawSaw.
旁白:At bath time, George shares his bath with Mr. Dinosaur.
乔治:Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
妈妈:Goodnight, Peppa.
佩奇:Goodnight, Mummy.
妈妈:Goodnight, George. And goodnight, Mr. Dinosaur."
乔治:Grrrrrrrrr.
旁白:When George goes to bed, Mr. Dinosaur is tucked up with him.
旁白:George's favourite game is throwing Mr. Dinosaur up in the air...
乔治:Wheeeeeee.
旁白:...and catching him when he falls back down.
乔治:Wheeeeeeeee.
旁白:Peppa and Daddy Pig are playing draughts.
佩奇(开心大叫):I win, Daddy.
爸爸(赞许的语气):Oh, welldone, Peppa.
乔治:Whhhhaaaaaaaaaaa.
爸爸:George?
乔治:Whaaaaaaaaa.
妈妈(关切的语气):George, what's the matter?
乔治:Dinosaur...
爸爸(关切的语气):George, have you lost Mr. Dinosaur?
旁白:George has lost Mr. Dinosaur.
妈妈(给予安慰):Don't worry George. We'll find Mr. Dinosaur.
爸爸:It's a job for a detective.
佩奇(疑惑的语气):Daddy, what is a detective?
爸爸(耐心解释):A detective is a very important person who is good at finding things.
佩奇(自告奋勇):Me. Me. I'm good at finding things.
爸爸:Alright. Peppa is the detective.
佩奇:George. I am the detective. I will help you find Mr. Dinosaur.
妈妈:Maybe the detective should ask George some simple questions.
佩奇:George? Where's Mr. Dinosaur?
乔治:Whaaaaaaaaaa.
旁白:George did not know where Mr. Dinosaur is.
爸爸:The detective could try and guess where Mr. Dinosaur might be.
佩奇(最开始很兴奋):I know. I know where he is. George always has Mr. Dinosaur with him in the bath. So Mr. Dinosaur is in the bath.
旁白:Mr. Dinosaur is not in the bath.
佩奇(开始有些失落,但也还有信心):Oh. I know. I know where Mr. Dinosaur is. George always has Mr. Dinosaur in his bed at night. So that's where he is.
旁白:Mr. Dinosaur is not in George's bed.
佩奇(有点儿沮丧了):Oh.
妈妈:Maybe we should try the garden.
佩奇(又有精神了):Yes, the garden. I was going to see that. Where is Mr. Dinosaur?
旁白:Mr. Dinosaur is very hard to find.
佩奇(难过):Oh. Mr. Dinosaur isn't anywhere.
爸爸:George? You do love to throw Mr. Dinosaur in the air... I wonder if this time you threw Mr. Dinosaur just a bit too high.
佩奇(惊喜):There he is. There he is. I saw him first.
爸爸:Well done, Peppa. You really are a very good detective.
乔治:DineDine SawSaw. Grrrrrrrrrr.
旁白:George is so happy to have Mr. Dinosaur back again.
乔治:Wheeeeeeeeee.
爸爸:Maybe it isn't a good idea to play with dinosaurs near trees.
乔治:Dinosaur.
