I read an article last night with the title "Confusion of 25 year old".
To be honest, I was deeply touched after reading it. The article started with picturing a woman riding a bicycle to the bus station with a leftover pork in it's basket. The woman walked down the memory lane and tried to think about herself. It's been three years since she graduated from college and still she has nothing right now-no car, no house, no stable work and even no boyfriend. She thought of her life now, where can she go and whether she go any further. Comparing with the woman who walked past her, she still has the pork and she knew if she sells it then she can make good money out of it.
For the other woman, she has nothing while standing on the station of Maldives. She started to think, maybe her decision was wrong after all. If she could just follow the rules normally then she might have gotten a better life than what she has now. Maybe now, she already has a boyfriend, or maybe she's even married with a charming baby then she can live a common, happy life. In fact, she chose a different path to follow, she followed her heart, went on a trip and never stopped. Just like now, Spring festival is just around the corner but still, it's supposed to be a time of get-together with the relatives and to have a big hearty feast but she's just there waiting for the bus. Now, let's go back to the woman that has the leftover pork. Is she happy? Is she satisfied with her life now? So my dear, we needn't overthink.
Sometimes, all we need is to focus on one thing. Maybe that thing cannot bring you anything now but I believe someday, it will bring you something you expected and you wanted.
