Love Is Love, Isn’t It
作者:陈国雄
Love with no constraint
Is still love
isn’t it
Love with nay strings attached
Is not perfect
but love enough
Seeking love’s perfection
an ideal mate
made in heaven
No cheating, no lying
no back-stab crying
Crystal, pearl
ruby, and gold
Annual steps
love must climb
Ascending higher
to diamond then platinum
How much more
must we promise
Must love be a measure
of time infinite
Does love feel better
when infinity
becomes our goal
Is love not real
if level gold
is out of reach
Is platinum love
more wondrous
than pearl
How many steps
wilt love scale
To be labeled
love’s highest nail
Perfect love
so preposterous to find
Humans demand heavenly love
too many times
Absent love’s permanence
Can we make do
with love’s imperfect tolerance too
Must love supplicate
forgiveness at thy feet
Must lovers
ill entreat
I beseech thee
make haste and make love
a two-person chase
