【A. 点饮品】
A-1: “你想喝点什么”的表达：
1. Would you like something to drink?
2. Can I get you something to drink?
A-2: “点饮品”情境对话：
— Would you like something to drink?
— Just water, please?
— Sparkling water or still?
— Still water is fine.
sparkling water = 气泡水
still water = 蒸馏水
在西餐厅，气泡水和蒸馏水都是要钱的。
如果你想要“免费的水”，千万不要说 free water。
可以说：Tap water, please.
tap water = 直饮水
【B. 看菜单】
餐前祝福语：Bon appetit = 祝你好胃口
B-1: 看菜单
问侍应生要菜单，可以说：
May I have a menu, please?
当你们选好菜了，侍应生会过来问：
Are you ready to order?
你们准备点餐了吗？
B-2: 争取充足的时间点菜
Could you give us a few more minutes?
Sorry, we need a little more time.
B-3: menu的一般结构
一般的menu会分为以下几个部分：
(1) appetizer / starter = 前菜
The portions of appetizers or starters are usually small.
前菜的分量一般比较少。
(2) main course = 主菜
Main courses are the primary dishes on a menu.
主菜是一餐中的重头戏。
In the US and Canada, entree has the same meaning as main course.
But in other English speaking countries, it usually means "starter".
在美国和加拿大，entree和main course是通用的，在其他英语国家，entree和starter相同，表示前菜。
(3) dessert = 甜品
There is always room for dessert.
正餐吃再多也有空间吃甜点。
常见的甜品种类有：
ice cream = 冰淇淋
cakes = 蛋糕
puddings = 布丁
cookie = 曲奇饼
pie = 派
wafer biscuit = 威化饼干
puff = 泡芙
pancake = 薄烤饼，煎饼
donut = 甜甜圈
mousse = 慕斯
egg tart = 蛋挞
(4) drinks / beverages = 酒水
wine list = 酒单

Lemons and grapefruit taste a little sour, so some people don't like them.
(1) I feel like eating… = 我想吃……
I feel like something sweet.

in the mood for = 有心情做某事/有做某事的心情

I'm in the mood for dessert. = 我想吃甜点。

upset = 不舒服
I have an upset stomach. 我的胃感觉不舒服。
当听到对方说Ta胃不舒服时，你可以说：
You should eat something light and healthy. 你应该吃些清淡健康的东西。
如果对方的口味和你相似，你可以说：
Then I'll have that too. 我待会儿也要那个。
If you want sweet and sour, then I'll have that too.

A-3：选酒通用规则
Good wine goes with good food. Good food needs good wine.
美酒配佳肴，美味的食物需要美酒的衬托。
选酒通用规则：红酒配红肉，白酒配白肉或海鲜。
Red wine goes with steak or lamb and white wine is usually paired with chicken, duck or fish.
red wine = 红葡萄酒
white wine = 白葡萄酒
【Part 3：点餐】
A：提示服务员开始点菜的句子
We're ready to order now.
我们现在可以点菜了。
B：“点菜”通用表达
I'd like to order…
I'll have…
I'd like…
I'd like to order the shrimp salads and the roasted salmon.
For dessert, I'd like the lava cake.
我想点虾肉沙拉和烤鲑鱼。甜点我想要熔岩蛋糕。
I'll have the roasted salmon.
I'd like to order the lava cake.
点菜小Tip：
当你不知道用什么量词时，可以在菜品面前加“the”：
I'll have the steak.
C： “点牛排”实用小技巧
1. “你的牛排需要几分熟？”的表达：
How would you like it cooked?
How would you like your steak done?
How would you like it?
2. “牛排熟读”的表达：
rare = 一分熟
medium rare = 三分熟
medium well = 七分熟
well done = 全熟
Medium, please. 五分熟，谢谢。

D: 点的菜没有时该怎么回答？
— I'm sorry, we are out of roasted salmon today. How about lamb?

E. 如何点酒？
I'd like a bottle of Merlot. 我想要一瓶梅洛。
If you order a whole bottle of wine, the waiter usually pours a small portion in a glass and lets you taste it first.
当你不想点整瓶酒的时候，你可以这样说：
Two glasses of Chardonnay, please.
