8 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

5–6 oz. coconut cream

2 cups all-purpose flour

3 large eggs

1 (14 oz.) can unsweetened coconut milk, shaken to blend
1罐(约400克)不甜的椰奶,摇一摇
6 tbsps. unsalted butter, melted
6汤匙无盐黄油,融掉
½ tsp. vanilla extract
半茶匙香草精
2⁄3 cup shredded sweetened coconut, lightly toasted
2/3杯碎甜椰肉,稍微烤一下
¼ cup large toasted coconut flakes
1/4杯烤椰子片
Melt the chocolate in a bowl set over simmering water or in the top of a double boiler. Stir in the coconut cream and keep warm.
把巧克力放在一只碗里,文火慢炖,或者放在双层蒸锅里,搅拌进椰子奶油,保持温热。
Preheat a Waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
根据使用说明预热华夫饼机
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, coconut milk and melted butter. Stir in the shredded coconut. Stir the milk mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
备一只大碗,把面粉、糖、发酵粉、小苏打和盐混合起来。备一只中碗,把鸡蛋、椰奶和融化的黄油搅拌起来,拌入碎椰肉,把这些倒入面粉、糖等的混合物中,搅拌,直到它们混合好。
Lightly grease the waffle iron. Ladle the batter into the preheated Waffle iron. Bake until golden brown, according to manufacturer’s directions. Keep waffles warm until all are complete.
在华夫饼机上面涂抹油脂,把面糊舀在华夫饼模具上,直到烤成金棕色,根据使用说明来。保持华夫饼的温度,直到全部做完。
Drizzle the waffles with chocolate sauce and sprinkle on coconut flakes to serve.
在华夫饼上淋上巧克力酱,撒上烤椰子片,开吃~
Tip: Coconut cream is the thicker, richer form of coconut milk, made with a higher concentration of shredded coconut to water. While coconut cream is becoming widely available, if you can’t find it, substitute the cream that rises to the top of a can of unshaken coconut milk, or substitute ½ cup heavy cream.
注意:椰子奶油是一种更加厚重的椰奶,比较常见,但是如果你买不到的话,也可以用未摇晃的,罐装椰奶上层的部分来替代,当然,用半杯全脂奶油来替代也可以啦~
