Starting from 4000B.C., traditional Chinese painting has consistently developed for 6000 years. Its developments unavoidably reflected changes of era and social situation. In its early development stage, Chinese painting is closely related to other crafts, from potteries decorations to bronzes and carved jades ones. Chinese painting got continuous developments and were divided into three types according to its topics: figure paintings, landscape paintings and bird-and-flower paintings. For example, some painters are specialized at painting figures, including immortals,emperors and common people. By depictions of feasts worships and street scenes and activities, these artists reflect the appearances facial expressions thoughts and religion beliefs.

For instance, some painters are specialized in painting portraits with the images of immortals emperors and common people included in their works. Through their dipictions of such scenes and activities as feasts workships and street scenes, these artists reflected the appearances, expressions, ideas and religious beliefs of the people.
