There are four aquilegia on the picture. They are naturally beautiful-looking and full of mysteries. The most attractive one is on the top of the picture which has opened fully. The stigma is yellow. The anthers are dense and long, which looks like the legs of a spider. And we can not see the pollen tube on the picture. Maybe they are curly. Five petals, surrounded the anthers and filaments, impress us with the mixture of purple and white. It has four pieces of deep purple needle-shaped leaves. However, the color of the leaves is deeper than that of the petals.
The flower next to the glorious one has not fully opened. The color of the anther is light yellow and the petals are not open. It has only a piece of leave on the picture.
I adore the third one with its layers upon layers of delicate petals. While it has no leaves. The last one we can only see half of the petals .but it is attractive and makes us to share the wonderful bloom with everyone.
