A Survey on NB-IoT: Performance and Application
Background
Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT), a narrowband system based on Long Term Evolution (LTE), has been introduced to support the Internet of Things in 2016. Featuring low cost, low energy consumption and wide coverage, the implementation of NB-IoT has been appearing in the industry.
Content
This survey will mostly concentrate on the following two aspects:
- the technology used in NB-IoT and the performance of the system
- the existing application of IoT in the industry and a outlook
