When I was in Grade Two in junior high school, I had a sense of happiness for being a Chinese. Maybe it's because I thought many other peoples lived a miserable life in their countries from political textbook.
Now I always feel I'm a lucky person. Because so many people around me love me. When I need them, my family members, my friends and even my students always offer help.
When I saw some parents waiting for their children at the gate of the school on a rainy day, I smiled. My father used to do the same to me even when I was in senior high school. When I saw children to be carried on the bike to a training school, I smiled. My mother helped me study at home for nearly a month after an operation at my age of 12. When I saw an old person was assisted to walk along the road , I smiled. When I was back to school after a serious illness last year, my students assisted me to go to classroom and back to my office every day, in case I fell over because of my weak legs.
And my friend did something which impressed me a lot when I was in Grade Two in senior high school. I worked hard every day, however I made no difference to my grades. I felt very upset and even doubted myself. Then one day I found a greeting card in my book. It said “Do you feel depressed? Do you hesitate to ongoing? Do you doubt about your future? But never give up, my dear, because everyday is new and there are three characters under your feet, they are The Starting Point.” lt's from my friend. I never told her about my trouble. I didn't know how she had found my puzzle. I think what affected me wasn't the warm words on the cards, but love from my friend. With the help of my friend, I cheered up. Whenever I meet difficulties and lose my heart later, I recall the words on the card and the help from my friend.
So I regard the praise “You are helpful” as the biggest one. I'm so lucky to meet lots of helpful people around me that I hope to be helpful as well.
