On August 8th, Zhang Yong ,the CEO of Alibaba, accepted the media interview, and talked about the new retail format that has caught our attention so much recently. Zhang Yong said, "The growth of employment opportunities is mainly from innovation, Business innovations such as new retail will certainly bring new business opportunities and jobs." .
Zhang Yong believes that newborn things will certainly challenge the existing format, but there is no doubt that this is a great business opportunity, under the premise of how we make use of this challenge, and to stimulate innovation. Zhang Yong take Alibaba's "unmanned product series" for example, the starting point of Alibaba is not to make all things unmanned, and we still need real man to serve us when we have any need that only real man can do it . Having an attempt on the new retail cross-border services, regardless of what happens to the form and carrier of the service, they should make use of the application of technology and data, gain better insight into customers. Only in this way can they allow users to get a different experience.
Zhang Yong said: "Ali is not a retail companies, but a company to help businessmen do retail . The goal of new retail is not to defeat others in retail, but to promote the integration of various formats, and ultimately create new opportunities and new formats. The combination of technology, data and industry ecology will bring many new opportunities, and online and offline integration is just one of them. 张勇认为,新生事物的诞生一定会挑战现有的业态,但这更是一个巨大的商业机会,前提是我们如何认识这种挑战,并且从中激发创新。张勇拿阿里巴巴的“无人产品系列”来举例,阿里巴巴的出发点不是把所有的东西变成无人,该有人服务的时候必须要有人。很多的新零售跨界的尝试,最终是希望不管服务的形态和载体发生什么变化,都要通过技术和数据的运用,对客户有更好的洞察,让用户获得不一样的体验。
张勇说:“阿里不是零售公司,是帮助商家做零售的公司。新零售的目标不是干掉谁,而是促使各种业态的融合最终创造出新机会和新业态。技术、数据和行业生态的结合,会带来很多新的机会,线上线下的融合只是其中的一种。就好像历史上汽车替代马车一样,短期的挑战和融合最终带来了生产要素的重组,新的商业机会和工作岗位的出现。当然,整个过程也会对原来从业者熟悉的工作方式带来挑战。但所有业态的变化,技术的变革、商业的变革,最终都会出现新的商业机会和工作机会。消失是为了更好的出现,这样社会才会向前发展。”
